Shore.Net Launches New On-Line Customer Portal

Lynn, Mass. -- Shore.Net, one of New England’s first regional Internet Service Providers, today announced the immediate availability of our new on-line customer account management system, Ubersmith DE, and retirement of the old Shore.Net Account Manager. The new system provides much greater customer account control and will be the foundation for the next generation of web-based self-service for our customers.
Commencing May 9, 2011, all existing Shore.Net customers should expect to receive email notification of the change to their accounts, including assignment of a new customer account ID. Your active hosted Internet services such as email or web hosting will not be affected, only the on-line account-level management and billing.
During this transition, all existing customers will also be eligible for free upgrades to our latest generation email and shared web hosting products.
