Lowell Gray, Chief Executive Officer
Lowell Gray is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Shore.Net, started in 1993, which he successfully grew to become the largest independent Internet Services Provider in New England in 2000 when he sold it. Lowell re-acquired Shore.Net in 2009.
Shore.Net was ranked the #2 fastest-growing inner-city company in America for both 1999 and 2000 by Inc. Magazine and the #6 fastest-growing technology company in New England for 1999 by Deloitte & Touche. Lowell Gray was named the "Small Businessperson of the Year - Massachusetts" by the United States SBA in 2000.
Lowell previously led systems development projects at Price Waterhouse Technology Centre (Menlo Park, CA), and developed network planning systems at AT&T/Bell Laboratories (Holmdel, NJ) and Bell Communications Research (W. Long Branch, NJ). He graduated from Harvard College in 1982 and was awarded an Honorary Ph.D. from Salem State College in 2000.
